A BIT ABOUT ME....
Let me be upfront: I'm not someone who works for people, but works with people! Launching C&G Consulting is meant to help people, organizations, and communities discover what they were actually built for.
First and foremost I'm Man of God with an eye for innovation and a gift for turning big ideas into bigger outcomes. My career has lived at the intersection of strategy, human connections and relationships, and transformation. I hold two degrees in Interpersonal & Organizational Communications and completed a Master's in Conflict Analysis and Resolution. However, looking both at my past and my present - all that I do is by the grace of God!
At George Mason University, across enrollment management, partnership development, and student engagement programming, I built and optimized recruitment outreach and pipeline strategies driven by market data, trends, and real opportunity. I expanded strategic partnerships, designed and executed small and large-scale events and workshops, and served as a speaker across multiple engagements. I worked with CRM and enterprise systems, crafted digital content and multimedia campaigns for diverse audiences, and coached and developed talent - priming them for leadership while enhancing recrutiment and enrollment outcomes.
One of my signature moves? The Visit Experience Initiative - a program I designed from scratch that grew from 17 students per session to 60–100+ students, engaging over 500 students per term. It became so popular I had to build entire capacity and planning systems just to keep up with demand. That's not a program. That's a movement.
Where my communications and conflict resolution training really shines is in how I work with people and organizations at a deeper level. I've studied how relationships and systems break down — and more importantly, how to fix them. Through process design, conflict assessment, monitoring and evaluation, systems thinking, and negotiations in complex environments, I've helped transform communities, teams, and institutions. I've implemented restorative justice practices in the Arlington community, supported First-Generation Professionals stepping into white-collar workplaces for the first time, built facilitation exercises inside businesses, and designed global simulations for humanitarian workers. I also led research addressing students whose academic journeys were derailed by COVID-19 — because some problems are too important to walk past.
Everything I do — every strategy, every event, every hard conversation — is rooted in my faith in Jesus Christ and move on the verse that in Him I live, move, and have my being. I view this work as stewardship: showing up with excellence, compassion, wisdom, and the kind of encouragement that makes people believe they were built for more than they've settled for.
